if gif is pronounced jif then why do you have to write it like “jif” to get your point across
This bothers me. Do I write jiraffe? No i write freaking giraffe. You still know what I’m talking about and you say it with a j sound. so why cant gif be said with a j sound? The j sound makes more sense to me when saying ‘gif’.

Indian train runs over Hindu pilgrims, kills 37; angry mob beats driver, sets train on fire
A train ran over a group of Hindu pilgrims at a crowded station in eastern India early Monday, killing at least 37 people. A mob infuriated by the deaths beat the driver severely and set fire to coaches, officials said.
Several hours after the accident, flames and dark smoke could be seen billowing out of the train coaches, as protesters blocked firefighters from the station in Dhamara Ghat, a small town in Bihar state, officials said.
Dinesh Chandra Yadav, a local member of parliament, said the pilgrims were crossing the tracks in the packed, chaotic station when they were struck by the Rajya Rani Express train. Several other people were injured. S. K. Bhardwaj, a police officer in Bihar, said 37 people were killed. (Photo: STRDEL / AFP / Getty Images)
The morning comes creeping slowly. As i, am left with the feel of your lips against mine, fading slowly to a soft memory.
Warm sheets become cold as I roll to be near you, but your no longer there. Toss and turn as my heart starts I yearn. I would beg of you.
Please stay here and near my dear… Please don’t go… I know not for how long the world may keep you or if I will see you again soon.
Will it be moments that pass by like cars on a busy road or will it be forevers that trickle by slowly like a creek that’s now lonely.
Drained of its waters and life line it slowly trickles, reaching for all it can. It knows not the end nor does it know to fear.
But unlike that creek… I know the fear, I know the troubles, for I am just a man. Humble my heart, courages my love and for you my lover…
I shall never be weak.
